
72. To be a member of MONKROCK New Monastic Community – Oblates of the Last Martyrdom – one must be a Christian (Catholic or non-Catholic, male or female) and may be of the laity, consecrated religious life or clergy. One must be at least the legal age of adulthood in their country of citizenship, and there is no limit to how old one is.
73. Inquirers must fill out and submit the Membership Application and wait for a response from the Council of Directors. Upon approval, the applicant will celebrate the rite of admission – the Act of Oblation to Divine Merciful Love. The Act of Oblation is to be renewed annually (or more often if desired) for one’s profession of ongoing commitment as an active member.
74. Members must adhere to the community’s Rule and all of its supplementary texts in obedience to their true meaning and spirit, which have been entrusted to the Council of Directors from the Founder. As is stated in the Introduction: “The community is simply its Rule in practice, and its members are simply those who practice it.”
