Mild acidity and light body with rich, earthy, faint nutty undertones distinguishes Papua New Guinea from its Indonesian counterparts. Our St. Michael the Archangel Papua New Guinea is our most popular coffee, and has been since we started MONKROCK in 2002. St Michael the Archangel, the patron saint of Papua New Guinea, is also the patron of artists, police officers, soldiers, battle, bankers, the most Holy Eucharist, England, those who are tempted, and dying people. OUR MOTHER OF PERPETUAL HELP HOUSE BLENDA unique three-bean blend suitable for any occasion. Medium-full bodied, moderate acidity and complex, fragrant, nutty undertones. Available in Decaf. Feast Day: 27 June. The picture of Our Mother of Perpetual Help (Theotokos of the Passion) is painted on wood, with background of gold. It is Byzantine in style and is supposed to have been painted in the thirteenth century. It represents the Mother of God holding the Divine Child while the Archangels Michael and Gabriel present before Him the instruments of His Passion. BROTHER BROOM MOKA JAVA BLENDMoka (or Mocha) Java Blend was the very first coffee blend and it is still a classic to this day. Medium-full bodied, with low acidity and earthy, winey undertones. Available in Decaf. Patron Saint: St Martin de Porres aka "Brother Broom". Saint Martin de Porres was a lay brother of the Dominican Order. He maintained an austere lifestyle and was noted for work on behalf of the poor, establishing an orphanage and a children's hospital. Among the many miracles attributed to him were those of levitation, bilocation, miraculous knowledge, instantaneous cures, and an ability to communicate with animals. He is the patron of African-Americans, black people, mixed-race people, barbers, hair stylists, hotel-keepers, inter-racial justice, poor people, public education, public health, racial harmony, social justice, television. In 1531 a "Lady from Heaven" appeared to a humble Native American at Tepeyac, a hill northwest of what is now Mexico City. She identified herself as the ever virgin Holy Mary, Mother of the True God for whom we live, of the Creator of all things, Lord of heaven and the earth.
