Arabica coffee was brought to Papua New Guinea in the 1930's from Jamaica and represents 90% of the coffee produced there. Mild acidity and light body with rich, earthy, faint nutty undertones distinguishes Papua New Guinea from its Indonesian counterparts. Our St. Michael the Archangel Papua New Guinea is our most popular coffee, and has been since we started MONKROCK in 2002. St Michael the Archangel, the patron saint of Papua New Guinea, is also the patron of artists, police officers, soldiers, battle, bankers, the most Holy Eucharist, England, those who are tempted, and dying people.
